WWE Live Event Videography

The ring demands everything.

When WWE brings its spectacle to Australia, the bar for visual coverage is set by some of the most-watched live events on the planet. They needed a local production team that could match that energy, and deliver broadcast-ready footage without missing a moment.

The challenge wasn’t just technical. WWE events are fast, unpredictable, and unforgiving. One missed angle, one late cut, and the moment’s gone. Our brief: capture the full scale of the show, from arena atmosphere to in-ring action, and turn it around fast enough to fuel the social media cycle before the crowd had even left the building.

How We Did It

Precision coverage. Zero second chances.

Pre-Production: We mapped the arena in advance, plotting camera positions to cover every angle from the entrance ramp to ringside. Shot lists, contingency plans, and crew briefings locked in before the first truck rolled in.

On the Night; Failure was not an option. We mobilised a 9-person specialist team to be on standby for the multi-day event, ensuring we had the expertise to manage a high-pressure, live broadcast environment.

Post Production; Colour grading, cinematic sound design, and motion graphics pushed the footage from documentary coverage to event film. Social-format cuts delivered within 24 hours. The full broadcast package followed shortly after.

The Drone Challenge

Flying where no one had flown before.

WWE required dynamic indoor drone shots, but the operation was in a regulatory grey area. Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Agency (CASA) confirmed they do not regulate indoor micro-drone flights, placing the entire safety and liability burden under the Work Health and Safety Act 2020.

We had to secure approval from a complex chain of stakeholders: WWE US/EU consultants, CASA, RAC Arena, and Live Nation. After hours of planning, we received a last-minute go-ahead contingent on five strict conditions, including obtaining 100% written consent from all personnel in the flight area; zero deviation from the pre-approved flight path; and full authority for any safety rep (from our team, the venue, or Live Nation) to stop the flight at any time.

The Solution

Meticulous planning. Real-time adaptation.

We mobilised a 9-person specialist team (including a PIC, Chief Spotter, Tech Assistant, and Spotter Network) and worked with an international WWE safety lead. Our safety case was built on:

A higher standard. Voluntarily operating to our CASA-approved ReOC standards and the WHS Act.

Total consent. Drafting and securing signed liability waivers from 100% of involved persons.

Sterile flight paths. Designing flight paths that only flew over consenting crew and pre-defined emergency landing zones.

What We Delivered

Every format. Every platform.

Full event highlight film. Long-form cinematic cut capturing the full atmosphere, action, and energy of the night.

Social media reels. Fast-cut vertical and square edits optimised for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, delivered same-day.

Match highlights. Individual match packages: clean edits with graphics, ready for broadcast or digital distribution.

Entrance & atmosphere. Arena wide-shots, crowd energy, entrance ramp coverage: the full spectacle, not just the ring.

Raw footage archive. Full unedited multi-camera footage delivered for the client’s archive and future production use.

Broadcast-ready master. Colour-graded, sound-designed master file delivered in all required broadcast formats and specs.

The Result

Content that hits as hard as the action.

From entrance music to final bell, we captured every moment that mattered, and turned it around fast enough to drive the post-event conversation online. The deliverables spanned broadcast, social, and archive, giving the client a full content suite from a single production day.

It’s exactly the kind of project that defines what we do: high-stakes live events, no room for error, cinematic results. When the pyrotechnics go off and the crowd erupts, you need a team that’s already in position, and already rolling.
